Authenticity in the Classroom: Developing a Culture of Authenticity in Your Classroom

Coming Soon!

This spring we will be launching a new online course through Bloomboard.com.

This course will serve as an introduction to authenticity-based social emotional learning.

Developing a culture of authenticity includes supporting student’s individual experiences, addressing student stress, and practicing techniques for creating a warm, dynamic, and engaging learning environment that invites your students’ full selves into the classroom. When educators develop a culture of authenticity in their classroom, they help students build the emotional competence, confidence, and social skills that allow them to thrive.

Participants will analyze their current classroom culture, design and implement a plan for developing a culture of authenticity, and evaluate their results. Participants will receive feedback and guidance throughout the process from seasoned guild instructors.

This course is a prerequisite for the Children’s Arts Guild’s other Authenticity in the Classroom micro-credentials available on BloomBoard.
