“Exploring the Heart of Education”

The theme of our second annual conference on children and authenticity is “Exploring the Heart of Education.” The two-day conference will focus on the role of authenticity in children’s development as lifelong learners. Guided by experts in a wide range of disciplines, we will explore more deeply the personal, social, and economic utility of authenticity.  And through hands-on workshops and in-depth presentations we will examine the many ways educators can help children explore and develop their authentic selves.

We hope you can join this gathering of thinkers passionate about education, including teachers, education leaders, parents, policy makers, public-opinion leaders, philanthropists, and business leaders.

“I had never attended a conference that had such a broad spectrum of speakers from a vast array of professions, organizations and life experiences who shared the uncovering of a reality that both children and adults deal with their entire lives...we were engaged in a rich exploration at an intimate level of the most basic of human goals.”
— Mary Jane Krebbs, Ph.D., Institute for Catholic Schools, St. John’s University, 2016 Children & Authenticity Conference Attendee
