This series of four virtual, interactive sessions will demonstrate lessons, routines, and discussion techniques that foster a culture of authenticity and demonstrate how existing curriculum can support social-emotional learning and culturally responsive sustaining education. When educators develop a culture of authenticity in their classroom they promote equity and help students build the emotional competence, confidence, and social skills that allow them to thrive both academically and socially. Participants will walk away with an implementation plan for bringing authenticity based social-emotional learning into their classroom or school community.
